Dean and Homer Brock made a flying trip to Bainbridge Saturday. Mrs. R. W. Dean and child ren spent Saturday night and Sunday with her parents near Whigham. J. I. Dean, Zion Brock and Jhonnie Avery, returned home last week from plant city where they have been spending a few weeks. .Jason Brinson of this place made a business trip to Whig- ham Saturday. Lewis Newsome is learning to drive his new car. Mrs. Eliza Ray died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nannie Clayton Thursday night. She leaves three daughters to mourn her loss. * S. B. Brinson made a busi ness trip to Bainbridge Saturday- There will be services at this place next third Sunday at ele ven o’clock. She lifts it wondering, •.taming the weapon. mm Mrs. G. H. Dillard who has a son in the English Army learned this week that he had been cap tured by the Germans and was being held a prisoner. For a few days they were under the impres sion that a worse fate had be fallen him but to the delight of the young man’s parents they learned that he was only captured and slightly wounded.
