STOP! LOOK! LISTEN!
COMING JAN- 20
STOP. LOOK, LISTEN, the
attraction announced for Bain
bridge at the Callahan Theatre
Saturday Jan. 20th, is a show of
girls, costumes, scenery and
dancing with dialogue .that is
scintilating and it all moves
nimbly to ragtime. The chorus
and show girls are ravishingly
beautiful—all handsome and
fresh young women—splendidly
costumed. The costumes are as
full of harmonies of line and
color ■ as they are of happy
fantasy. They, are delicate and
decorative and could be worn in
deed nowhere else and by no
other than the BIG GIRLS and
LITTLE) GIRLS that carry them
off so well. There are hoops and
yards of (illusive tulle; there is
fur, there are summer things for
Honolulu and settings that are"
new and good in idea. ' flat in
color, the ocean ultramarine, the
beaches and the coral islands
one-toned sand-color, the palms
green, delicately filigreed as
though their fronds were cut
from plain paper, they are pleas
ant and restful to the eye. In
fact, it is an attraction that ap
peals to everybody in some way
or the other. Spectacularly it
should satisfy the most fastidi
ous. There 'is about the entire
spectacle that air of smartness
that stamps the big New York
successes, and as to the music-
well, just imagine Irving Berlin
at his best, and then some. Seat
sale will be on three days in ad
vance, this is the seasons biggest
offering.

Ever Salivated by
Calomel? Horrible!
Calomel is quicksilver and
acts like dynamite
on your liver
Calomel loses you a day! You
know what calomel is. It’s mer
cury; quicksilver. Calomel is
dangerous. It crashes into sour
bile like dynamite, cramping and
sickening you, Calomel attacks
the bones and. should never be
taken into your system.
When you feel bilious, sluggish
constipated and all knocked out
and believe you need a dose of
dangerous calomel just remember
that your druggist sells for 50
cents a large bottle of Dodson’s
Liver Tone, which is entirely
vegetable and plesant to take
and is a perfect substitute for
calomel. It is gauranteed to start
your liver without stirring you
up inside, andjean not salivate.
Don’t take calomel! It makes
you sick the next day; it loses
you a day,s work. Dodson’s
Liver Tone straightens you up
and you feel great. Give it to
the children because it is per
fectly harmless and does not
gripe.

IAU
AT ELK'S HALL
One of the most absorbing as
well as the most interesting so
cial event of the season was the
Bachelor’s Ball given last night
at the Elk’s Club by the Bachelors
of Bainbridge in the person of
Messrs. Papy, Shackleford, Mc
Duffie, Acosta, Cliett, Kwilecki,
Fleming. Bruton, Ralph Kwilecki,
Harris and Curran to their
friends. The preparations for the
occasions were on a big scale
and the decoration of the hall
most attractive. The Hall- being
arranged and decorated' under
the direction of Mrs. Boen
Belcher, assisted by Mis. C. E.
Parker, Mrs. W. H. Piay, Mrs.
J. D. Gray, Mrs. E. S. Varn
er, and Mrs. Glenn Mathis.
The music was furnished
by the Moultrie Orchestra, a
musical organization well know
in this section. The friends of
the gentlemen were all in atten
dance despite the most threaten
ing weather and the rain. So
ciety had been on the tip toe of
expectation for several days and
none of |them were disapomted
in the magnificence of the oc
casion, the beauty of the decora
tions, the music, the flowers, the
ladies or the dancing. The danc
ing lasted until the wee small
hours of the morning and the
guests all left feeling that thd>
were indebted to their old
bachelor friends for a most
splendid and enjoyable evening.

In Our New Quarters
WE THANK OUR FRIENDS

formerly occupied by Tonge Bros., next door
to Kwilecki’s Hardware store, In this new
building we have^more room and we will have
a better light. Our big line will be better dis
played to the patrons.
In the opening of the y New Year we wish
to sincerely thank our friends for their mag-
%
nificent business last year. Our holiday trade
was all that any firm could ask. We carried
a big line and our sales were very heavy and
we are duly grateful to the people of the sec
tion for their liberal patronage. We thank all
and extend to all our heartfelt wishes for a
happy New Year.
