The $100.00 War Saving Stamp club, which was begun through the columns of this paper several weeks ago, has been growing since the plan was sug gested by Mr. Herbert Gaulding. During the first week six joined this club and more WO’dd have joined had it not been for .'ie limited time which the $100.00 members would have to purchase, i finish purchasing, their stamps. R since Mr. Gaulding suggested 1 plan to Miss Merle Rob inson, and is going to leave it entirely with her she has decided to give the Decatur county people more time in which to buy their stamps. Those who are at all informed ns this county is FAR BEHIND in get ting up her quota and that it will take the united efforts of every man, woman, and child, in the county in order to meet this quota by Jnnuary 1, 1019. This condition being true, docs it then make so much difference WHEN the stamps are bought—just so they are bought? Do you not think it a wiser plan to have 500 peo ple join- the $100.00 club and promise to buy their stamps by the last of this your, than to hnvc only twenty- fivQ join now? It is the money that I FOB GHli FI New Buildings For Fair at Valdosta Now Ready For Opening October 21.
