Miss Mamie Sue Acree, of Camilla,
is spending several days in the city

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Harrel! and
daughter, Elizabeth, have returned
home after spending ten days very
pleasantly in the mountains of North
Carolina.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Nussbaum will
leave next week for Maine, by auto.

Miss Carleen Sasser, of Cuthbert,
a former Bainbridge girl, is the house
guest of Miss Maxie Fitzgerald.
The Misses Alice and Maysie Curry
and Mrs. Walter Davidson, of Daw
son, are on a house party of Mr. and
Mrs. N. Blaum, of Dothan, at Com
pass Lake, Florida. The Misses Pat
Wilson, Roth Botts and Leah and
Jewel Smith will join them for the
week-end.

Carrabelle.

THE STORY
Margaret Vane, pampered and pet
ted wife of Donald Vane, mistakes
her husband’s devotion to business for
indifference toward her. As a mat
ter of fact, Vane is ruining his health
in business, endeavoring to supply
Margaret with the luxuries she
craves.
In a squalid little East Side tene
ment house, Min Berry and her hus
band find themselves in a losing fight
against poverty. A boarder, Ted I
Leach, is taken in to revive the with-1
ering income. Leach has a secret in-!
