Mrs. James Yause of Florence S.C. is visiting her sister Mrs. James Davis. Mrs. Jake .Heard and baby of Vienna are the guests of Dr. and Mrs. Gordon Burns. Miss Jordon of Valdosta is spend ing several days with the family of j Mrs. C. C. Jordon. Mrs L. P. Lamar of Sassar Ga., is visting at the home of Mr. and Airs. J. H. Fuller this week. Mr. J. D. Lockriage of Valdosta was a genial visitor to the Fair this week. Senator John Moore of Gainsville is the guest of his sister, Mrs. H. C. Wheichel. Mr. W. R.-Flowers of Bluntsville Florida, was one of the visitors to the Fair this week. G. A. Roberts and son of Nichoils was pleasant visitors to our office while attendsng the Fair. Mrs. Mollie Lott and son, Oscar, are at home from a visit to the fam ily of Mr. Sam Harrell at Dorminy. I will have an especially pretty dis play of hats at my store, 116 east Sycamore St.; during the fair. Miss M. Sayre. Mr. J. K. O’Steen of Kirkland was a plesant visitor to this office, on last Saturday and left his subscription to help us progress. Mr. L. Baker of Nichoils was in the city last Saturday and while here called on us and ordered the Pro gress to his address. J. C. O’Brien’s Georgia Minstrel will give a performance under canvas on Nov. 29. Come out and laugh your blues off. Mr. J. C. O’Brien of Minstrel fame will present his troupe of famous performers, to Douglas, and Coffee County on Friday night Nov. 28. Mr. and Mrs. Agnew of Atlanta are the guests of Dr. and Mrs. J. R. Smith. Mrs. Agnew. is remembered pleasantly as Miss Ruth Wofford, who formerly lived here. Mrs. M. A. Morgan is visiting rel atives in Macon and will be joined early next week by Dr. Morgan and together they will attend the South Georgia Conference, which convenes - there. I Mrs. E. S. Sapp has as her guests for the week, Mesdames J. E. Roque more of Eatonton, Mrs. J. H. Roque more of Mansfield, and Mrs. Colton V. Smith and little daughter Kathryn, of Haddock. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gaskin will cele brate their wedding anniversary, ( next Sunday, it being their fortieth anniversary. There wi'l be present on this occasion their children, Mrs. Clough with her children from Jeff Davis County, Mr. Fisher Gaskin and his family of Alabama and Dr. R*>s coe Enzor, whom,they reared, with his wife and child? from A’ lanta. Mr. Elias Lott, of Loyd, Fla., was a visitar in Douglas yesterday. Dan Hail of Nichols spent Wednes day here. Mrs. Sasser, of Millen, is visiting Mrs. Windam for a few days. David Tanner of Nichols spent Tuesday in Douglas. G. F. McCranie of Willaccochee spent Tuesday here. Rev. Dan Pearson of Pearson was a business visitor here Monday. John Paulk of Kirkland was shaking hands with friends here Tuesday. E. D. Douglas and Rich Kirkland of Nichols were on business here Monday. Low Prices will prevail during fair week at Levin’s. Wilcox has sold his home to H. B. Curliug, who will move his family there at an early date.
