Mr. Otto Tanner and sisters, Zeda, Ezell and Naomi were the afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Kirkland. All enjoyed playing Mrs. Kirkland’s pretty self-player piano. Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Meeks had as their dinner guests, Mrs. R. W. Cain and children, Charlie, Mabel and lit tle Hazel Leone Baker, Mrs. Paul Barringer and son, of Atlanta. Mr. and Mirs. R. H. Tyner and lit tle daughter, Cretelle, were dinner guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Tanner. Miss Myrtle Carter had as her week end guest Miss Murriel Davis. Miss Verdie Thomas was the week end guest of Miss Georgie Davis. Misses Blanche and Hazle Young blood was the lovely week end guests of Miss Myrtice Meeks. Mr. Horace Melton and brother, Calvin, were the week end guests of their sister, Mrs. Joe Nipper. Mr. B. W. A very large and lively crowd of | Sagina w and New Forest community | enjoyed a picnic at the Rocks Sunday. Had plenty to eat but nothing to i drink as it was a dry time and there |was no water. After drinks were served at the Union Pharmacy the crowd assembled at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Dent and made ice cream. Everyone departed declaring that they had enjoyed the day immensely.
