Phillips, who has long tesidrd at the Falls. The facts are well known to ali the old residents of diet part of the city. Messrs. A. B. Sands A Co.—Sirs: Most gratefully do I embrace this opportunity for tilling to you the great relief I obtained from the ase of your Sarsaparilla. I shall also bo happy, through you. to publish to all who are afflicted, aa I lately was, the account of my unexpected, and even for a long rime despaired of core. Mine is a painful story, and trying and sickening aa is the narrative of it. for the sake of many who may be «o surely relieved, I will briefly yet ac curately state it. Nineteen yearsago last April, a fit of sickness left me with an Erysipelas eruption. Dropsical collections immediately took place over the entire surface of my body, canting such an enlargement that it was necessary to add a yard to my dresses around the waist. Next followed upon my limbs, ulcers painful beyond description. Foryears.both in sum mer and winter, the only mitigation of my tufferinga wa* fjund in pouring upon those parts cold water. From my limbs thepain extended over my whole body—there was literally tor me no rest, by day or by night. Upon lying down, these pains would shoot through my system and com pel me Pi arise, and for hours together, walk the' house, so that 1 wa* almost entirely deprived of sleep. During this rime the Erysipelas contmuea active, and the ulcers enlar ged. and to deeply have these eaten, that for two and a half yearstbey have been subject to bleeding. During these al most tweaiy years I have consulted many physirians. These have called my disease—aa it was attended with an obatinate cough and a -teady and active pain in my aide—a dropsical consumption ; and though they nave been skilful praetttion era, they wm e only able to afford my case a partial and tem porary relief. Iliad many other difficulties too complica te I to describe. I have also used tnanv of the ine-licines that have been roe onmended aa infallible cures for this dis ease. yet these all failed, and I was most emphatically growing worse. In this critical oonditioii.gi von op by friends and expecting for mvself relief only in death. I was by the kind interposition of Ptovidenee, furnished with your, to me, invaluable Sarsaparilla. A single bottle gave me an' assurance of health, which for twenty years I had not once felt. Upon taking the second my enlargement diminished, and in twelve days from the Stii of October, when I com menced taking your Sarsaparilla. I was able to enjoy aleep and rest by nieht as refreshing as any I ever enjoyed when in perfect health. Besides, I was in this short time, relie ved from all those excruciating and unalleviated pains that had afflicted my day*, as well as robbed ine of mv night's repose. The ulcers upon my limb* ore healed, the Erysi pelas cured, A my size reduced nearly to my former meas ure. Tha* much do I feel it a _ of your health restoring Saranpsril airs, from one who.e comfort and whose hope of future health are due under God, to vour instrumentality. And may the same Providence that directed me to your aid. make the happ, acd honored instruments of blearing nhers, as diseased and despairing a* vonr much relieved ami very grateful friend. Warranted to Cure or Benefit a Patient, or Money Re turned. raiHESE PILLS have been used extensively, and found A to be eminently aurcesaful in the treatment anil cure ol that truly distressing malady, SICK HEAD ACHE. In order to cure any disease, strike at its root and mote espe cially those that disturb and derange the functions of the brain sympathetically, as occurs in this disease It comes out at intervals a few days or weeks, front an impaired or enervated state of the digestive organs, and which alone is the seat of disease. Pick Head-ache is a disease common to be found in the country; few are more distressing in their efiects, or so little understood generallv in its nature and cure. Nothing will cure Sick Head-ache, but a tho rough and complete change in the action of the stomach and bowels, and at the same time restore and invigorate them. e» well as to keep them well regulated. Such is tne nature and eff<ct of the combination of Dr. E L. SPOHN'S Sick Head-ache Pills. So certain is the proprietor that these Pills will cure Sick Head-ache, that he hereby guarantees to the public, that whoever tries them without cure or bene fit. shall have their money returned. Every thing like reference to colleges.certificates, affida vita. Sec. to portray the success oi the Pills with, is waived, on the grom.d of the guarantee; but sheer justice requires that the following case, amongst the many that have been re cently reported, should be known at least totbe afiprted: The wife of Leary Stanley, of Houston conuty. Ga has been long afflicted with .' ick Head-ache, of the most violent character—besides frequent attacks, it has often (during .hem) endangered her life—to cure which, many reraedie.-. have been prescril ed and used, but without success. Un der these circumstances, she commenced the daily use of Dr. Spohn’s Sick Head-ache Pills. Scnreely had a box of them been taken, before she felt and looked like a new per son ; not only free from any more attacks of Sick Head-ache but greatly improved in health and strength. She has taken two boxes of the Pi'ls and is advised to continue th -m oc casionally for some time, having so long labored under the disease, and n-1 finding before a remedy to relieve it. The cure of Sick Head-ache is effected by the peculiar action of the Pills, in restoring and invigorating the powers of digestion, by which the proper sympathetic relation be tween the sti-mach andbrain is alone established. There is not the least danger in using the Pill* in any way. but re quire ordinary rare and attention while taking them. Each box contains 50 pills, with full directions for using. PRICE.
