UULL'8 COUUII LOZENGEH are now rapidly superceding all other prepartions for the re lief of Coagb, Colds, Asthma, Whooping Cough, Catarrh, Tightness of the Chest, Bronchitis, and similar Pulmonary affections. Hundreds of persons could noDbe pointed out. who have been troubled with an old lingering Cofigh from five to twenty years, and who have been entirely cured by using two or three boxes of these Loxenges. In fact, the proprie tor* have never known an instance where they did not give perfect satisfaction. Sudden Colds snd Coughs are cured by them in a few hour*. Several thouaand boxes have been sold within the last few months, restoring to health persons in almost every stage of Pulmonary affections and those laboring under the most distressing Colds and Coughs. They do not check and dry up tho co tgb, but render it easy, promote expectoration, re lieve congestion, allay the tickling or irritation, and remove the proximate or exciting cause. They are made from a combination of the most valuable expectorant, or Cough Medicine*, and are undoubtedly superior to every thing in use for th-rae complaints. Hundreds upon hundreds of cer tificates have been offered of their wonderful virtuea, from those who, it is justly thought, have been saved from an un timely grave, and restored to perfect health, by using them. Death itself has already deprived of life its hundreds and its thousands, whom this vafuaMe medicine might have sa ved, if it bad only been taken in time. How important it it, then, that every individual should attend to the curing of a Cough, which has sncli a powerful tendency to undermine the constiliftion before the least danger is suspected. A de lay of a few days often proves fatal. No medicine will bo found more efficacious than these Lozenges; they are as pleasant to the taste as sugar Candy. Warranted to Cure or Bcflqfit a Patient, or Honey lie- turned, T HESE FILLS have been used extensively, and found to be eminently successful in tbe treatment and cure of that truly distressing malady, SICK HEAD-ACHE. In order to cure any disease, strike at its root, and more espe cially those that disturb and derange the functions of the brain sympathetically, as occurs in this disease. It comes out at intervals a few days or weeks, from an impaired or enervated stata of the digestive organs, and which alone is the seat of disease. Sick Head-ache is a disease common to be found in the country; few are more distressing iu their effects, or so little understood generally in its nature and cure. Nothing will cure Sick Head-acne, but a tho rough and complete change iu the action of the stomach and bow els, and at the same time restore and invigorate them, a* well as to keep them well regulated. Such is the nature and effect of the combination of Dr. E. L. 81’OHN’S Sick Hx ad-ache Pills, 80 certain is the proprietor that these Fills will cure Sick Head-ache, that be hereby guarantees to the public, that whoever tries them without cure or bene fit, Bhall have their money returned. Every thing like reference to colleges, certificates, affida vits, Ac. to portray the success ot the Pills with, is waived, on the ground of the guarantee; but sheer justice requires that the following case, amongst the many that have been re cently reported, should be kuown at least to the afflicted': The wife of Leary Stanley, of Houston county, Ga. has been long afflicted with Sick Head-acbe, of the most violent character—besides frequent attacks, it has often (during them) endangered her life—to cure which, many remedies have been prescribed and used, but without success. Un der these circumstances, she commenced the daily use of Dr. Spohn’s Sick Head-aclie Pills. Scarcely had a box of them been taken, before she felt and looked like a new per son ; not only free from any more attacks of Sick Head-ache, but greatly improved in health and strength. She has taken two boxes of tne Fills, and is advised to continue them oc casionally for some time, having so' long labored under the disease, aud not finding before a remedy to relieve it. The cure of Sick Head-ache is effected by the peculiar action of the Fills, in restoring and invigorating the powers of digestion, by which the proper sympathetic relation be tween the stomach and brain Is alone established. There is not the least danger in using the Fills in any way, but re quire ordinary care and attention while taking them. Each box contains 50 pills, with full directions for using. March 5, S3 That community may have some idea of the extremes itr which disease may go without being beyond the reachaf medicine, ilia deemed proper to append the following sts:e- meats offsets, taken from a number of similar impart, which may yet be submitted as room and circumstance may admit. Bibb CovsTr, Jas.9tb,ie«. This may certify that my wife has been afflicted with Dyspepsia -_nd Liver complaint for twelve years, end hss taken a variety of medicines without apparent benefit; even the justly celebrated Dr. Durham of Clark county, faded t» benefit her. She suffered much from nervoas irritability palpitation of the heart and extreme weakness so as to be confined almost entirely to her bed. In tins situation I ip- plied to Dr. M. S. Thomson, of Macon, under whose direc tions and applications. I am happy to say, she soon was res tored to comfortable health, ana is now able to attend to til 1 the usual business of her bouse and family. My daughter was also afflicted witn convulsive fits, from which Dr. Durham failed to relieve her. I applied to Dr. Thomson also in her rase, and I am persuaded he has fi nally cured her; she ha a had no symptom of them in six month.’!. But these though certainly of their kind very emretr, cannot be competed iora moment with the cueolone «’ my sons, who has bee 11 afflicted with palsy to euch x as to have become perfectly helpless. He first lost the use ot his limbs, then of his body, and finally his hearing u>d EYESIGHT, 00 that he might be in a manner dead, only he breathed, and even that at one time, was ro nearly gone, that his clothes were prepared in anticipation ofhisfir.il ex it. We had made use of the usual remedies in asch ca ses, and even had applied to Dr. Stringfellow, a root doc tor, but without benefit. In this situation. Dr. Thom;on was called in, who I nm happy to say, has restored him not only to the full and free use of all his limbs, bat also to the use of his eyes and ears, without which creation were* blank and life itself a burden. The change ia so gtest from absolute helplessness, blindness and deafness to life t»d activity, sight and HEARING, that it can hardly be realised by any but those who have seen it. This is a" cure which, numerous as those effected by the Dock r are, will hardly give precedence to any. ISAAC WATTS. Iff. S. .BALL & CO’S. DAILY EXPRESS, GENERAL FORWARDING & COMMISSION nOCSE.
