The Central Ruil-Roa.l is now completed and in operation, from Savannah to within 2| miles of our Depot, and will be
completed to Mac..a early this fall- This Road is in dally operation to Griffin. 60 miles above Macon; and. by tlie first
of Deeemher. will be opened for Business to Leakville.Sl miles above Griffin; nnd to the junctiun with the Western and
Atlantic Rail ltoad, early next spring. That portion of the Road originally laid with the thin plate Rail, has been
rebuilt ibiaauturner, and laid with heavy flange Rail, and the whole Road from Macon to Griffin, is now in good order for

Merchants living in the upper part of the Plate, wiH find itdeeidedly to their interest, to ship their good* by way of
