"The tkilful physician shall lilt un In* licud, tu the sight
of iho great men of the earth, he shall be in admiration;
f.»r he hath prepared hi* medicines out of the herbs of the
field; and he that is wise will not abhor them.”
Physicians, medical meii, and philosophers, have all
agreed that nature has preprred a remedy for every dis
ease. A little reflection must convince every one of tbe
truth contained in tins remark. Dr. Spencer's Pills are a
vegetable remedy, and all-powerful in removing disease.
They may be taken with impunity at all times without re
gard to diet or exposure, and without the debilitating ef
fects consequent on taking other medecines. They have
the united testimony of the whole medical profession in
heir favor, and from their decision there is no appeal.—

This is to certify, that 1 have been amieied with Sick
Headache, Dyspepsia, and Liver Complaint, and Costive-
neas for the last eight or nine years, during which time I
had taken, as well as I recollect, about sixty boxes of
Beckwith’s Pills, twelve boxes of Peters' Pills, and a
number of boxes of Champion's and Brandreth’s Pills, all
of which afforded me but little nr no relief. At last, 1 was
recommended to try Doctor Spencer's Vegetable Pills,
and WELL I did; for I never had but one attark of the
Sick Headache after I commenced taking the Pills, (now
about six months.) and I candidly confess, that I have de
rived more real benefit from the use of Spencer’s Pills,
than from all tbe other Medicines and Pills that I have
ever taken, and I wonld earnestly recommend them TO
Af.L. as being in my opinion the best medicine in use for
all lingering complaints. Tbe Pillshave done me so mach
good, that I would not feel willing to he without them for
five dollars a bex; and I cannot but feel very grnteful to
Dr. Spe.icrr for having prepared such a valuable medi
cine, and tbe distribution of it is conferring a very great
favor on the public, ns it is a thing of the utmost import
ance that every family should have a supply of Doctor
Speaccr’s truly valuable Pills constantly on hand.

I certify, that in the summer ofl843, I had a severe at
tack of Fever and Ague, and was fit some time under the
treatment of a physician, but received no benefit from his
prescriptions—tny disease continued to increase in tho fre

I afterwards had in my family several eases of Fever
