They may be taken with impunity ot all 'times w ithout re

This is to certify, that I have been afflicted with Sick
Headache, Dyspepsia, and Liver Complaint, and Costive
ness for the lost eight or nine years, during which time I
had taken, as welf as I recollect, about sixty boxes of
Beckwith's Pills, twelve boxes of Peters’ Pills, and a
number of boxes of Champion'a and Brandreih’s Pills, all
of which afforded me but little or no relief. At last. 1 was
recommended to try Doctor Spencer'3 Vegetable Pills,
and tVELI. I DID; for I never bad but one attack of the
Suck Headache after I commenced taking the Pills, (now
about six months.) and I -candidly confess, that I have de
rived more real benefit from the use of Spencer’s Pills,
than from all the other Medicines and Pills that I have
ever taken, and I would earnestly 'ecomtnend them to
Al-L. as being irvmy^ opinion the beat medicine in use for
all lingering complaints. The Pills have done me so much
good, that I would not feel willing to be withuot them for
five dollars abex; and I cannot but feel very grateful to
Dr, Spencer for having prepared such a valuable medi
cine, and the distribution of it is conferring a very great
favor on the public, as it is a thing of the utmost import
ance that every family should have a supply of Doctor
Spencer s truly valuable Pills constantly on hand.

The expression*, rich blood and poor blood, have a
scientific basis. The ridicule which many have attempt
ed to cast on these common-sense opinions, must recoil
upon themselves as surely as that Truth will rsr.amii
BRAJUMriSTH’S FILIzS.
r JYHE effect of this celebrated medicine, is to purifv the
JL blood; to convert the poor, corrupt blood, into healthy,
rich blood. And it is because they do this, that they have
been ao steadily sought after by all classes of onr citizens
who have required medicine. And it ia because of the
power Brandreih’s Pilla are NOW known to possesa as
health-restorers, that renders them so popular.
They cure all affections, simply because they make the
blood pure—abstractoutof itthosequalities which produce
disease, and give to it these qualities which produce health.
.No*’’ eveiy solid part of the human frame is made from
the blood and the Io.nl we eat is converted into blood to sttn-
ply the waste our bodies are continually sustaining. So, in
the ordinary course of nature, we manufacture our eutire
bodies in about nine years, from the food taken into our
stomachs. Suppose the blood made in this stomach nl ™,.
is unsound, occasioned by some cause or other; it mav refer
to the preceding generation; no matter, we make impure
blood, and if so, ca.mot be healthy. Or. suppose the air we
have lived in for some time has been loaded with matters
detrimental to health, or our food for a long period has been
of an unwholesome kind, or that the mind has been
troubled—for grief, anxiety.or great attention to any partic
ular point, is sure to occasion bad effects on the blood. Any
or these causes existing, good blood cannot be supplied to
the bndv.
■ Bullet Brandreih’s Pills be used daily, under these cir
cuinslances. in doses of from two to six Ellis, or as the cat e
shall determine. What is iheir effect T It is to carry off'
the impure matters from the blood, leaving only tbe good to
renew every part of the body. What was unsouiirtliow t>e.
comes sound, and the stomach aoon gets into so hcallliv a
rondition, that even bad air or unn holesome food, for a time
are unable to injure die health materially. Even when the
climate or food continue unhealthy, the occasional use of the
Brandreth Pills will separate the impure parts and cause
their expulsion, leaving what is good to supply lire and
strength to the body.
When the bones are diseased, when every ramification of
the frame is out of order, the Brandreth Pills, will, in nine
teen cases out of twetuv. cure. Remember that the body
can be entirely re-made from the food, bones and nil -, and
aided bjr this most beneficent medic.ne, in a quarter or time
it lakes in the ordinary course of nature. In from two to
four years an entirely new, healthy body can be exchanged
for the unsound, the diseased, the miserable one. The
slowness or quickness of the change altogether Depending
upon the effect the Brandreth Pills are made to produce;
which effect can be graduated just as the patient pleases.—
No possible injury can result from this; nothing but good
can follow. Enquire the effect of Brandreih’s Pills among
your unprejudiced friends; yon will hear sufficient to satis
fy you that there is no risk id making the trial, and that you
will not be doing yourself justice without it.-
When .your blood is once pure, nothing in the shape of
i.va .
food will hardly come amiss; nothing will sour u|ion your
ng i
ill
stomach; you may cat pies, or any think in reason ; and the
rfi * ' ‘m"
greater variety of food, the better blood is made.. All who
have weak stomachs, who are dyspeptic, or in anj^ way af
flicted iu body, shonld, without delay, resort to Brandreih’s
Pills—which will, indeed, strengthen the life principle, and
lebody;
by perseverance with them, entirely renew the who.. _
the materials now in it good, will be kept so; those bad. dis
placed and removed. Good blood cannot make bad bone
or bad flesh. And bear in mind, the Brandreih’s Pills sut c
ly purify the blood.
The method of preparing the Brandreihian Vegetable
Extracts, is secured by Letters Patent of the United Slates
—Patent granted to Benjamin BrandrcUi.20th Jan 1843.
The extracta of which Brandreth’a Pilla are composed,
are obtained by this new patent process, without boiling or
any application. The active principle of the herbs is t!ius
secured, the same as it is in the living vegetable.'
The public should be cauttous of medicines recommend
ed in advertisements stolen from me.
A sure test of genuine Brandeth Pills: Examino the box
of pills; then look at the certificate of agency; whose en
graved date must be w-ithin the year, winch every author
ised agent must possess; if the three labels on the box agree
with the three labels on the certificate, the pills are true—if
not, they are false.
The pills are sold at 23 cents per box, at No. 241 Broad
