No internal injury, rot clearly perceptible on the outside of the parkage, will be allowed for, unless established to have occurred on board the car. Not accountable for the decay of perishable articles. Not accountable for live stock; and no liability for goods evidently shipped in bad order,or for cooperage of casks or pack- ages. Colton received in gond order at the depots, and afterwards torn while in possession of the Company, will be mended at their expense. All other damage done to Cotton in transitu will be promptly settled at Savannah. It is understood that this Coicpany will not hold themselves accountable for pillage, or damage by the weather, or otherwise, on any freight after Dringlanded atthe place ofdestinaiion. The Company will not be accountable for Passengers’baggage, unless put in the baggage car incharge of the con ductor. The Companv will have agents at stations 8, !0, II, 12.13.14.15, 16. and 17. and at Macon, to attend to the delivery and forwarding of goods. All merchandize not to be forwarded will he retained at the respective depots at the head of the road one week, free of expense, after which storage will be charged at the Savannah rates. That portion of the Road originally laid with the thin plate Rail, has been 1 rebuilt this summer, and laid with heavy flange Kail, and the whole Road from Macon to Griffin, is now in good order for business.
