VTIROM the plantatio c of the subscriber
JL' in Barber county Alabama, about the
20th of August last. Four negro men. vix :
Alfred, about 50 year* of age is bald on the
top of his head, and is lame I think in one
hip. Isaac is also about the same age of
Alfred, lie is also a little bald as well as remembered, and
when spoken to speaks very slow. Tom is aboot 25 years
old, he is quite black, and is about 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high,
and stoat liuilt. Jim is about 25 years old. is rather light
color, and slighter built than Tom, and is about tbe same
height.
The mail called Isaac, can write, ami he baa probably
furnished each of the others with passes. Said negroes all
came recently from Virginia, and it is probable they will
attemp toget back there. Any person who will secure and
return said negroes to my plantation in Barber county Ala-
or lodge them in Jail so that I can gel them, shall be liber,
ally rewarded. L. M. WILEY.
