complete order. Both mills are situated on a never failing
stream,entirely new, and incomplete repair. This is a de
sirable and healthy location, and cannot fail to please such
as me in pursuit of a valuable plantation, with a grist and
saw mill, and every thing attached for the convenience of
farming.

erford place. 10 miles from Macon, adjoining the lands of
Needham Mima and John Powers. Tins plrce contains 600
acres of fine land, most of which is cleared and under good

to-wit: On the day and year first aforesaid, the said John
G. Clark the better to secure the payment of said twelve
promissory notes, made and then and there scaled and de
livered to said Joshua Pattishall. his certain mortgage deed,
thereby, mortgaging to said Joshua Pattishall, all the east
half of the lot of laud situate, lying and being in the fifth
district f Houston county aforesaid, and known and distin-
gulsfied in said fifth district, i;y tie number fifteen, and
containing one hundred and one aud a fourth acres of hind
more or less. Yet the said John G. Clark did not. in the
life time of said Joshua, pay him said sums of money, due
by said promissory notes, or either of them, or any par
thereof, nor has -he paid the same, or any part thereof, to
your petitioner, since the death of die said Joshua Patishall
but the same to pay has hitherto neglected and refused, and
still does neglect and refuse: wherefore your petitioner
prays the foreclosure of said mortgage, in tPims of the sta

ordered, that the said John G. Clark, the mortgager.do pay
into Court, on or before the first day of the next term, the
principal and interest due upon said notes and mortgage, or

that service of this rule be perfected, by publication of these

month for four months, or by personal service upon the said

Lumpkin, executed his certain mortgage, to Nathan II.
Beall, wherein, he among other thing*, conveyed to said
Beall, certain lots of land to-wit: foriyvne, forty-two. fifty-
seven. each containing two hundred two and one half
acres, more orless. and the west balfof lot twenty fbur.con-
taining one hundred one and a fourth acres in the ninth dis
trict of said county; the better lo secure the payment of a
note of hand, given hy said Lumpkin to said Beal!, or bear
er for tbe payment of six thousand seven hundred nn<l sev
enty three dollars due one day afterdate, thereof, and
which note was dated the tenth January 1842.
Your petitioner further shews, that afterwards to-wit: ou
the dav and year aforesaid, said note and mortgage were
tran«fe"rred for a valuable consideration, to jour petitioner,
by the said Beall, and that the *ame have never been paid,
nor any part thereof, to your petitioner, nor any one else le
gally authorized lo receive payment.
Wherefore, your petitioner prays a perpetual foreclosure
of said mortgage unless said Lumpkin shall on or before the
next term at this Court, pay the amount of principal, inte
rest and co t due on said note and mortgage.
