resisted every other remedy that had- been prescribe!
The first was my own case, of about four years standi';,
which not only baffled my own skill bat rhatof twootbn
ihysicians who advised with me. I only look tbe pills n
ied time in sufficient quantities to move the bowfb.
less than once nor more than twice the next day; snd t*i;
one nn!e spoonful of the bitters twice a dnv. about kiilu
hour before meals. I continued this course lorthrsewrfh
and found myself cured of a most unpleasant and trocllo
some disease.
I then ordered my patients to take the medicines is tb
same way. Some of them however were cured inonebiit
the lime that I was myself. Since I commenced prnrri
ing the pills and bitters f have cured four patients nf As-
Tula, 8 or 9 of Rheumatism, more than a dozen eases of c&
and fever of long standing, and some 15 or 20 cases of do-
pepfla, besides a great number of sick headacKe, weakK»
of the stomach and general debility.
I would add that I have always been opposed to Tr.r’.
Melicities generally, and I should never have countest*
ced yours in my practice had it not been for the rernsriibj*
cure of my own case first. This convinced me that tbep:A
and bitters must possess very superior virtues; andis^ro-
tice to the medicine. I will say. that in a practice ", i*
years I have never become acquainted with a medicine »
pleasant and mild in its action, that waa at the same tin*
so powerful in curing diseases.
I am yours, respectfully.
