consider them to be anti-billioua. and where a cathartic is
needed, they will answer every purpose. I think they are
equal, or superior to any pills now in use. I sold a box the
other day to a gentleman laboring under bilious symptoms,
and they relieved him so soon that he concluded they must
have Calomel in them. I can safely recommend them, and

after he had treated bet case sometime, concluded that he
could do nothing for her. We then applied to Dr. Thom

out the least benefit, for she was left in a most deplorable
condition perfectly helpless. Wherever she was laid there
she remained, without the power of motijn by the greatest
effort nf the will. Bite was so much reduced that she look
ed as if there was not five pounds of flesh oo the whole
body, so that she could be compared to nothing but a living
skeleton, if such could be imagined. While in this state 1
was induced to apply to Dr. M. S. THOMSON, of Macon,

A VERBAL MEDICINE.—Accurately-prepared by

President of the British College nf Health
Twenty yeats' successful administration of these cele
brated medicines in Europe, and more than twelve years in
the United States, have established their high reputation.
Thousands nf both sexes, who have been restored to health
—the numerous sufferers rescued from premature death—
and volumes of certified cases ol cure, embracing every
disease in the loug catalogue of human, misery; must con
vince the most incredulous, of their superiority and the
truth of the Hygeian theory, resulting front Scientific re
search and experience, namely, that "man is subject to only
one rextl disease—impurity ol the blood.”
The medicines being composed entirely of herb* or ve
getable matter, purify the blood, and carry off the corrupt
humors of the body, in a manner so simple as to give every
day ease and pleasure.
Tne Hygeian medicines, first .introduced into this coun
try by li. B. Moat, in 1830, hsve for* the last four years
been prepared by him; and the increasing sale attest3 their
intrinsic merit; they comprise two sorts ol Pills, No. 1 and

It is ordered. Thauhe said two causes to be tried togeth
er. and that the judgment, and Order, and Decree of this
Court, shall apply to and be binding in each case, and be
so certified to the Court below.
This cause came oo to be heard on the transcript of the
Record from the Superior Court, of the county of Bibb, and
was argued by Counsel, Whereupon, it is considered and
adjudged by the Court: that the Judgment of the Courile-
low be reversed on the following grounds:
First.—Because it is the opinion of this Court, that the
Bill holders had a pat amount lien only on the Fund raised
by the sate of the Railroad from Macon to Griffin, and so
much only of the Hoad from Griffin to the terminus, in De-
Kalb, as was built hy the Monroe Rail Hoadand Bannking
Company, prior to the 2J day of August, 1842. and that the
Contractors of the second part under the agreement of the
2d August 1042. in the Record mentioned, had a prior and
superior Euquity to the Bill holders to be paid out of said
fund, in proportion to the relative value ot' the work done
by them on said Road, and materials furnished between
Griflin and the terminus of the Rord, in the enutty of De-
Kalb, and thaitheCourt below committederrorin excluding
said Contractors from a participation in said fund to the ex
tent of the relative value of their claim for work and labor
done, and materials and equipments furnished said Hoad,
between the city of Griflin and the terminus of the Road in
DeKalb. as aforesaid.
It is furthenhe Judgment of this Court, that the relative
value cf the work and labor done, and materials and equip
ments furnished on said Road,by said Contractors, between
the places last aforesaid, be apportioned by three Commis
sioners to be appointed by the Court below, with power to
hear evidence in relation therein, ai d make report there
on within such time as the.said Court shall deem expedient.
Second.—Because the Court below committed error in
deciding ’‘That the Bank Bills should take each in propor
tion to the value received by the Hank for it at the time of
its emission by the Batik.” It being the opinion of this
Court, that each Bank Bill should take in proportion to the
quantum of consideration paid therefor by the holder or
claimant on the Fund, and that such holder or claimant
should state the quantum of consideration actually paid
therefor, on oath, in writing, with the right nf other contest
ing claimants for said fund to traverse tue same. *
