Doctor Henry Branham has used this medicine in his

bis opinion, that it is one of the safest and most valuable
medicines that can he used in imperfect digestion, liver
complaints, constipation and irregular state of the bowels.
It is useful in bilious complaints, to persona recovering from

T HE GENUINE HYGEIAN VEGETABLE UNI
VERSAL MEDICINE.—Accurately prepared by
Dr. H. S. Moat.ofNew York, from the original recipeused
or many years by his late father, Mr. Thomas Moat, Vi.e
President orthe British College ofHealth
Twenty years’ successful administration of these cele
brated medicines in Europe, and more than twelve years in
the United States, have established their high reputation.
Thousands of both sexes, who have been restored to health
—the numerous sufferers rescued from premature death—
and volumes of certified cases of cure, embracing every
disease in the long catalogue of human misery; must con
vince the most incredulous, of their superiority and the
truth of the Hygeian theory, resulting from scientific re
search and experience, namely, that "man is subjeetto only
one real disease—impurity ol the blood.”
The medicines being composed entirely of herbs or ve
eetable matter, purify the blood, and carry off the corrupt
humora of the body, in a .manner so simple as to give every
day ease and pleasure.
Tne Hygeian medicines, first introduced into this coun-
try by H.S. Moat, in 1830, have for the last four years
been prepared by him; and the increasing sale attests their
intrinsic merit; they comprise two sorts of Pills, No. 1 and
2, in single boxes of each at 25 or 50 cents; and Packets con
taining both aorta, at 81,82. or #3, The Vegetable Clean,
sing Powder*, in large boxes, at 37 1-2 cent*, with printed
directions. Each packet has a fac-aimile of the signature
of H. Shepheard Moat.

are obtained fram agents who can produce their written ap
pointments.

VEGETABLE UNIVERSAL PILLS
T HIS medicine i. acknowledged to be one of the most
valuable ever discovered as a purifier of the blood
and fluids. It is superior to Sarsaparilla, whether as a su
dorific or alterative, and stands infinitely before allthe pro
partitions and combinations of Mercury. Its purgative
properties are alone of incalculable -value, for these pills
may be ta ken daily for any period, qnd. instead of weaken
ing by the cathartic effect, they add strength by taking away
the cause of weakness. They have ,none of the miserable
effects of that deadly specific,Mercqry: The teeth are not
injured—the bones and limbs are not paralyzed—no; but in
stead of these distressing symptoms, new life and conse
quent animation is evident in every movement of the body
These Pills, for colds, coughs, tightness of tho chest
rheumatism in the head or limbs, will be found superior to
any thing imagined of the powers or medicine; and in bil
ious affections, diapepsia, and in all diseases peculiar to
women, they should be resorted to at once.

By uonsent of the parties, in each of the above state*
causes, by their respective Counsel,
It is ordered. That the said two causes to be tried togeth
er, and that ibe judgment, and Order, and Decree of this
Court, shall apply to and be binding in each case, and be
so certified to the Court below.
This cause came on to be heard on the transcript of the
Record from the Superior Court, of the county of Bibb, and
was argued by Counsel, Whereupon, it is considered and
adjudged by the Court; thatthe Judgment of the Court le-
low be reversed on the following grounds:
First.—Because it is the opinion of this Court, that the
Bill holders had a paramount lien only on the Fund raiseff
by the sale of the Railroad from Macon to Griffin, and so
much only of the Road from Griffinzo the terminus, in De-
Kalb, as was builtbylhe Monroe Rail Boadand Bannking
Company, prior to the 2d day of August, 1812. and that the
Contractors pf the second part under the agreement of the
2d August 1842. in the Record mentioned, had a prior and
superior Euquily to the Bill holders to be paid out of said
fund, in proportion to the relative value of the - work done
by them on said Road, and materials famished between
Griffin and the terminus of the Rord.in the county of De-
Knlb.and that the Court below committed error in excluding
said Contractors from a participation in said fund to the ex
tent of the relative value oi their claim fer work and labor
done, and iralerialsand equipments furnished said Road,
between the city of Griffin and the terminus of the Road in
DeKslb, asaforesaid.
It is furtkerthe Judgment .of this Court, that the relative
value of the work andlabor done, and materials and .equip-
ments furnished on said Road,by said Contractors, between
the plage, last aforesaid, be apportioned by three Commis
sioners to be appoiuted by the Court below, with power to
hear evidence ip relation thereto, ai d make report there
on within such time as the said Court shall deem expedient.
Second.—Because the Court below committed error in
deciding “That the Hank Bills should take each in propor
tion to tnev-lue received by the Bank for it nt the time of
its emission by the Bank.” It heing the opinion of this
Court, that each Bank Bill should take io proportion to the
quantum pf consideration paid therefor by the holder or
claimant on the Fund, and that such holder or claimant
should aUte the quantum of consideration actually paid
therefor, tin oath, in writing, with the right of other contest
ing claimants for said fund to traverse the same.
