CHAIN PIMPS.
THE BEST MACHINE FOR RAISING WATER 1J4
tt£e.
T HIS Pamp has many advantages overany other
in use, ou account of its simplicity of construc
tion, being made wholly of wood aud galvanized Iron,
not liable to get out of order, or to get deranged in
any way. It can never freeze in Winter and enn bo
put in Well* of any depth. It takes less power tc-
work it than any other Machine, to raise the same
amount of water.
It is never obstructed by gravel or sand; it keeps
the Water perfectly sweet and. fresh; the action of
the chain mixes the Gases with the Water, always
keeping it lively and fresh; on ceasing to work the
crank, the Water in tbe tube descends tn the level of
the Water in tbe Well;on commencing to work the
Pump, the first Waterthat is drawn is from tbo bot
tom of the We 1.
These Pumps may be bad at the Work Simp of the
subscriber on Fourth street. Macon, Dear the Market,
atthe building formerly occupied by M. E.Rylander,
as a Blacksmith’s shop.
