W HICH has gaioed such great popularity where
ever introduced, as the only specific known
for tho effectaal cure of this painfni disease. This
jremedy lias already cored thousands of cases, com
prising every seeming form of this complaint, from the
inflammatory (acute) form, attended with swelling:
[aud enlargement of the joints, to old chronic cases o
from ten to twenty and thirty years standing. Those
wlio had for years resorted to the various celebrated
springs, had tried all tlic linaments and external ap
plications, and been under treatment of some of the
[ablest physicians both in this country and Europe.and
were pronounced incurable; still, after all these efforts
Ihnd failed, this compound had cared them. Many
who have been cripples, either hobbling upon crutch
es or confined to their beds for years, certify to a com
plete and permanent care by the use of this remedy.
\Vc have not space, in a newspaper advertisement,
to insert the accnmulated evidence in its behalf. This]
^evidence comes from sources which must inspire con ]
■_y ulencc iu every mind. The conductors of nigh toned
public journals have published to the world its won
derful nnd beneficial effects upon themselves and
those around them, and in some instances speak of
hundreds of cures. Physicians have resorted to it,
and certify that, even in extreme cases, where con
sultations had been held, and they had decided that
[there were no hopes of recovery, even then, they pro
[enred this medicine and administered it, and it effect
ed a complete cure. Ministers of various denomina

-yOUNG'S MAMMOTH CORN—This variety of
Jl Yellow Corn which is beginning to attract the]
'attention of oar Farmers, recommends itself on ac
j iountof its early maturity, abandant production, and
superior weight. It is two weeks earlier in nmtur
Sing than any other Corn known in our country, and
j weighs Sixty-Two Pounds per Bushel.
“ It fs also known to contain more nutritious matter
than any other variety of Corn. I recently sent a
minple to market, in order to test iu superiority, and
I was offered fifty percent, more for it than our com
mon corn was commanding. A few grains of it was
first introduced in this country from abroad into W est
Tcnuessce, where it was found that the soil and cli
mate were admirably adapted toits production. The
stalk is somewhat larger but about the usual height
§of the common while corn, bearing generally two
and frequently three ears on a stalk. The ear is very
long and grain well developed ; with a hard red cob.
which is asuro indication of soundness.
This Corn is no Yankee humbug—no wooden nut
meg speculation, but strictly what it purports to be.
An experiment iu its production was made last ycai
in Cass county by Dr. ft. M. Yorn<, who is so well
pleased with its superiority and prolific yield, that
be intends this year to plant his entire crop with it.
Tho corn is neatly pnt up in sacks bolding one
peck, and can be had at Two Dollars per sack.
