We find tlie indebtedness of the county to bo three
thousand one hundred and fifty-four dollars.
We find there hns been paid out for the support
of paupers from May«-1854. to May, 1855, nine hun
dred dollars. We would recommend to the kind
consideration of the Inferior Court, “The Widows
and Orphans Asylum” of this city, and that such des
titute woinuu aud children the county provides' for,
be recommended to the managers of that Institution,
and such funds as the Court may appropriate from
time to time for tlie support oi' sneu women and
children as may he received into the Asylum, be
placed into tho hands of those benevolent ladies

We are informed that tlie bridge over Walnut

Believing the permanent location of the Supreme
Court of the State at some central and convenient

to law libraries in investigating the business ol the
Court; will add much to the efficiency of the same.'

next Legislature, to endeavorto procure such change
in the Constitution and the Law, as may be necessa
ry to effect the snine.
