Frederick 11. Tarver, deceased, lying on the Oenuil-
gee river in Houston county, opposite the Buzzard
ltoost Ferry, containing about Thirty-six Hundred
Acres; has about eleven hundred acres cleared, pro
portion of whieh is fresh an 1 all under a good fi-nec.
The improvements are good : there are about tweii
ty negro houses. Overseer's house, two giu houses
and screws, and largo barncrlbs, and other buildings,
all nearly new.
I consider the plantation and lands to be one of
the best, if not the very best in tho country, all things
considered.—The land is rich, well watered, and has
a good outlet for stock.
We would prefer, and expect to make a private
agreement so far as it can legally be done, before
the day of sale.
The subscriber or the overseer on tho place, will
with pleasure show the lands to Bny one wishing to
see them, ami we advise all such as wish to buy a
good plantation to look at the premises.

Valuable Houston Plantation at
administrator's sale.
ILL be sold in Perry, Houston county, Ga., on
the 1st Tuesday in November next, by leave
of the Court of Ordinary of Bibb county, Georgia,
the plantation in Houston co., belonging to the es
tate of the late Dr. Abner F. Holt, comprising nine
hundred and fifty (950) acres more or less of Oak
and Hickory land, about two thirds of which is un
der cultivation, and balance in the woods, abont six
miles below Perry, adjoining lands of P. S. Holt,
Joseph Tooko ana others.
The crops on this place for several years past, prove
it to be one of the most productive and desiraDlo in
the county for com, cotton and small grain as well
as for health. It is well improved, having a new
cottage dwelling with four rooms, good negro houses
with rock cbimnies, and all necessary out-hanses and
everything in complete order for farming. Terms
will be one half payable 1st January 1859, and the
other half 1st January 1860, with one yeais’ interest
on last payment.
The place is well stocked with mules, hogs and
cattle, and farming implements, which, with the
crop of corn, fodder and small grain, will bo sold on
the premises about the end of this year, (of which
due notice will be given,) and the purchaser of the
plantation will have the opportunity of procuring on
the premises everything necessaiy for the next year.
The place will be shown to any one wishing to see
it by tho overseer, Mr. Buff, and for further infor
mation apply to the subscriber at Macon, Ga.

Plantation andUegroos For Sale.
T HE nmlersigned offers for sale his 'plantation
and Negroes, in Lee connty. The plantation con
tains 1,720 acres, first quality Land, on the east side
of Muchalee three miles from Stark ville, and six miles
from Wooten’s, the first station above Albany, on tho
Southwestern railroad.
The plantation has new and commodious buildings
and is provided with every convenience usually up
on Cotton plantations. It is now under cultivation,
and is one of the most productive places in South
western Georgia.
The stock. Provisions, and Tools, willbe sold with
the place, if desired.
The Negroes will also be sold in a body, to an ap
proved purchaser. Terms liberal.
If this property is not aold at private sale, before
the second Saturday in December next, it will then
be sold at public out-cry, ou the premises.

Aliibamn Cotton i’luutution.
T OFFER FOR SALE my plantation containing
X one thousand and forty acres of land, situated
nine miles south of Knfaula, Ala. There are on the
tract abont four hundred and fifty azres of cleared
land, all in a high state of cultivation; and nine
hundred acres fresh. The plantation is under a
good and new fence. Thero are eight negro houses,
a large and comfortable dwelling honse, stables and
barn bouses, ail superior, large size gin house and
screw, standing one mile and a half from the Chat
tahoochee river. All of these buildings were erected
within the last eighteen months. Purchasers are
invited to visit the place and examine the growing
crop. The lands will be exhibited by my overseer
on the place, or by myself when called on in Enfau-
la. The extension of the South Western Railroad
will be made to Eufaula in about eighteen months.
