LOCAL NEWS Mr. Van Wilhite spent Sunday at home. The bad disagreeable weather is still here. Morning Sickness, or Nausea from Pregnancy, is dispelled by Simmons Sqnaw Vine Wine or Tablets. Two Good Citizens Gone. Last week Winder lost two of her good citizens in the moving of Messrs. D. Y. and F. M. Hooges to Loganville. Mr. D Y, Hodges has been one of the leading business men of our little city for 12 years or more, aud was, until January Ist, one of the firm of Hodges, Oamp, Arnold & Cos., one of our large mercantile houses. He was a safe and conservative business man and has the reputation of being the best cotton man in this section of the state. Mr. F. M. Hodges had been a citizen of Winder for three years and had made many friends here. We regret their leaving very mnch, as they will she greatly missed. Mr. D. Y. Hodges had considerable property interests at Loganville and thonght best to move there and open up business. Since Loganville has gotten a railroad it will be a splendid business point, surrounded as it is by as fine a farming section as tin.ro is in the state, and we wish success to both of these gentlemen in their now home. Mr. S. A. Fackler, Editor of the Mi canopy (Ela,) Hustler, with his wife and child ren, suffered terribly from La Grippe. One Minute Cough Cure was the only remedy that helped them. It acted quickly. Mr. and Mrs, W. J. Haynie of near Nichelsou visited friends aud relatives here last Sunday and Monday. Sheriff Stevens made his first trip to Milledgeville Tuesday to carry Mr. J. TANARUS, Jones, who was tried and convicted of lunacy, caused from the effects of financial troubles. The harder the times are, more lunatics we have.
