The readers of this paper will be
pleased to learn that there is at least
oce drerdsd disease that science has
been able to cure in all its stages, aud
that is Catarrh. Hall’ Catarrh Cure is
the only positive cure known to the
medical fraternity. Catarrh being a
constitutional disease, requires a con

Cure is taken internally, acting directly
upon the blood aud mucous surfaces of
the system, thereby destroying the
foundation of the diseuse, and giving
the patient strength by building up the
constitution and assisting nature in do

much faith in its curative powers, that
they offer One Hundred Dollars for any

the people along its road, instituted a

Railroad, and one of the most energetic
Georgia ladies, Mrs Eugene B. Heard,
who is a S. A. L. Industrial Agent, is

Mrs. Heard, and they are sent from sta

thirty days at each station, giving the
farmers access to its contents; thence

would have been equally as bad as the
first but for the use of this remedy as I
had to go to bed in about six hoars after
being 'struck’ with it, while in the first
case I was able to attend to business
about two days before getting ‘down.*’’

In Memory
Of little Hattde lou Pate, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. W. id. Pate, wr.s born
Aug. 16sh, '97 and died September 17th
’9B.
She was the youngest of the two
children, and was the joj and sun
shine of home. Sh 9 is sadly missed,
but there is consolation in the fact that
she is gone where there is no more suf
fering.
She was one of God’s beautiful little
flowers planted on earth for a short
wh’le and then transplanted to the
Garden of God.
May God bleas and comfort the be
reaved father and mother and help
tnem strengthen their determination
to m jet Little Hattie Lou where there
will be no more parting.
Sleep on dear one and take your rest,
Cold is your bed, but greatly blessed.
Through the partly closed blinds and
drawn curtains, the golden glories of a
summer sunsit cast their heavenly
splendor on the paled features that lay
so still and cold in the little white
coffin.
The mocking bird, to which s’le of
ten listened, had just sung it’s cradle
song to the world, and the time had
come for pap t. mamma, sister and
friends to take the last longing, linger
ing look at the child they loved so
well.
And then the litide beckoning hands
were gently folded on the snowy white
robe, the last kiss cf love was given
and its sweet little features were hid
den forever from mortal view, Those
little beckoning hands are to mother’s
and father’s loving heart a fixed taot in
heavenly history. Amid the cares of
day the eye of their faith is cheered by
[heir beckoning, and when night
brings relief from cares, their upward
glance in God’s jeweled sky seems to
show the little beckoning hands gather
ing stars into bonqnets and waving
them in loving entreaties for papa and
mama to come. May they clasp the
little beckoning hands in glory.
