Harris, was dead, and she took the train at once for Culver ton, Ga., where he had bean living for some time. Miss Lela Parker has bid us all adieu and gone to Buford where she will engage is dress making. We sympathize with the Bethle hem correspondent in the death of hie faithful horse. It seems to us that the poor 2 get poorer and the rich richer, but we trust and pray that better times may dawn on us before the close of the nineteenth century. We feel and realize that unless a change comes before long, that the poor farmers are gone, and not on ly the farmers but the merchants are feeliug the hard times. Mrs. Nancy Hitchcock.
