Miss Annie Lee Faust, of Denmark S C.
The parlors and dinning room were
artistically decorated in golden rod and

refreshments were served, after which
the delightful music by several of the
guests; and ’’the wreck of the Maine.”
rendered in a most effective manner by
Miss Eley, tbe efficient elocutionist of

pleasure of all present and it was only
when the “wee Sma hoars” reminded

that the happy guests reluctantly dis
persed, thanking Miss Jennings for this
long-to-be remembered occasion.

QUESTION ANSWERED.
Yea, August Flower still has the
largest sale of any medicine ia the civ
ilized world. Your mothers’ and grand
mothers’ never thought of using any
thing else for Indigestion or Biliousness.
Doctors were scarce, and they seldom
heard of Appendicitis, Nervous Prostra
tion or Heart failure, etc. They used
August Flower to clean out the system
and stop fermentation of undigested
food, regulate the action of the liver,
stimulate the nervous and organic ac
tion of the system, and that is all they
took when feeling dull and b*d with
headaches and other aches. You only
need a few doses of Green’s August
Flower, in liquid form, to make you sat
isfied there is nothing serious the mat

Miss Ha bell
Hamilton Dead.
Miss Mabell Hamilton, whose illness
was meutioued in last week’s Econo
mist, died Sunday morning and her
gentle spirit was welcomed by the an
gels above. Since early childhood she
had been an invalid and deprived of
many of the pleasures and enjoyments
of this life. It is a sweet consolation to
her father, mother, and sister, who
were so devoted to her and who did al*
in their power to make life as pleasant
and comfortable to her as possible, to
know that her innocent soul is at rest
in a brighter world.

I was very bad, down nearly all the
time suffering with my side, back and
kidneys, and would have been dead
long ago without relief. After taking
Dr’ J. H. McLean’s Liver and Kidney
Balm a few days I found it was helping
me, and by the time the second bottle
was gone I was well and have been in
good health since. James Fisher, Sr.
