Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Rogers, of Latta,
South Carolina, are visiting their son,
Mr, R. L, Rogers, of our city. Mr,
Rogers is one of the large planters of
his state and has been very suc
cessful in life, accumulating quite
a large amonnt of property. He is
a very pleasant gentleman and is
favorably impressed with our beautiful
little city. Mrs. Rogers will remain
here several weeks before returning
home.

state fair. Charlie Turner is a friend

pepyer is one of the rising young
men of his section of the county. The
