The latest happening at this end of

pleasantly in drawing candy and play

sociable and candy drawing will go

CHAMBERLAIN’S PAIN BALM
CURES OTHERS, WHY NOT YOU?
My wife has been using Chamber
lain’s Pain Balm, with good results, for
a lame sholder that has pained her con
tinually for nine years. We have tried
all kinds of medicines and doctors with
out receiving any benefit from any of
them. One day we saw an advertise
ment of this medicine and thought of
trying it, which we did with the best of
satisfaction. She has used only one
bottle and her sholder is almost well.—

Obituary.
Climmie Green was born on the 30th
day of June, 1884 and died on the 3 l day
of Nov., 1899—making her fourteen
years, foar mouths and three days old at
the time of her death. She was the
daughter of Joseph F. aud Nancy J,
Green of Walton county and the sixth
child of seven. She had been afflicted
for eight years and during all
this period bore her suffering with
fortitude. The last few months of her
life were months of extreme suffering.
Climmie was a lovisg girl, and on ac.
count of her long affliction, was very
near and dear to her father, mother,
brothers, and sisters.
She was always a good girl and obedi
ent to her parents, ever trying to be as
little burden as possible to her loved
ones.
She died gently and softly, all pain
seeming to have banished and she gent
ly went to sleep without a sigh. Most
of her life was one of sorrow and sad
uess, caused by hsr long sickness, bnt
she never mnrmered, and being free
from the sinfulness of this world, it is
a sweet consolation to ns all to know
that the angels wafted her sweet soul
to a brighter and happier home beyond
the akyes.
Her memory will ever be fresh to
every member of our family, and to the
writer, who loved her so tenderly and
devotedly, there will ever be a vacant
place among us that can sever be filled
in this world of sorrow and disappoint
ment. Our loss, however, is her eternal
gain.
She was buried at Christian Chappel
church just below Winder. A large
ooncourse of relatives and friends being
present to pay their last sad rights of
love and respect for her. A Brother.

Yes, August Flower still has the

Doctors were scarce, and they seldom
