We are having a flourishing school under the auspices of Pro a. Orr and Glenn Mr. Carlton, who is superintending putting in the complete ginnery for Braselton Bros, and Cooper, says he will have it in operation in a few days and it will be one of the latest and most complete in the state. Mr. W. B. McCants has been confined with fever for several days, but we are glad to learn he is some better. Mr. William Hosch, of Gainesville, visited relatives here Sunday. Miss Mattie Bell, our efficient music teacher, has a largo clcs. We a r e sorry to note the serious iU nesi of Mr. John E. Arnold who is very low with typhoid fever. Several of our young people nnt to the entertainment at Mr. Cooper’s last Friday night _ TALMO. Mr. James Gee who has charge of the Braselton gin and Grist mill, which is situated one mile from Mountain Creek has ginned about 200 bales of cotton and ground over 2500 bushels of corn within the last twelve months Mr. Gee knows how to handle machinery and is a practical, level headed farmer.
