Mrs. T. C. Williams Dead.
Mrs. T. C. Williams, one of our pure
and good women, died at her home in
this city Tuesday morning after an ill
ness of only a few days. She was the
w idow of the late Capt. T. C. Williams,
who died only a few months ago. Mrs.
Williams was buried at the Lyle Ceme
tery over on the Mulberry river, yester
day afternoon. She leaves four child
ren and many relatives and friends to
mourn her death.

A Grand flusical Concert
Will be given in Winder at the Insti
tute Auditorium ou Saturday night,
April i’lst, by the Wages family. This
family has played to large houses all
ovor the State and if you are a lover of
flue music you should not fail to witness
their performance. This is not a regu
lar traveling show, but Capt. Wages,
the head of this interesting musical
family, is one of the popular passenger
conductors of the Georgia railroad and
is a native of Jackson county, aud we
hope our people will all evidence their
appreciation as music lov.ers by giving
them a hearty welcome aud a crowded
house.

Mr. M. R. Hudson, Passenger Agen
of the Georgia railroad, brought a party

the visit was greatly enjoyed by Win
der. The party returned to Jefferson
on the late train that afternoon.
