The Greensboro Herald—Journal has the fallowing complimon'try notice of the Wages lamily in a recant issue: “Last night, Brown’s Hall was well filled, to hear the performance of the Wages family, and we have never seen a more delighted audience. Capt. aud Airs. Wages are accomplished mus - cian. Master Charley, aged 13 years is remarkably proficient witli the violin, and Master Harry, age 11 years, would make many older musicians take a back seat a3 a cornet player; but the little "iris are, after all, the greatest attrac tion. In song, their voices are sweet aud harmonious, aud they were entliu siastically encored. Miss Bailie May, age 8 years, plays the vioiiu exceedingly well, and hor performance was novel and appreciated; but Emma, a five year-old tot, held the audience delighted, as she played a pret ty piauo solo, requiring a volume of sound extremely difficult for one so youug to produce. The permormance closed with the popular and musical air, “The Caliph of Bagdod,” all taking part. It is debatable which of several pieces played were most enjoyed, ail being ex cellently rendered aud musical. There were several old favorites which will never cease to charm. Captam and Mrs. Wages have every reason to feel proud of their children, and should give them all possible oppor tunities in musical education. With only home acquired training, they de light; later, when their musical educa ation is more thorough—as their par ents intend it shall be—they will be in position to con maud the admiration of the most finished music critics.” The Wages family will give their popular performance in Winder on Sat urday night, April 21st. Remember the date and go out to hear them. The One Day Cold Cure. Cold in head and sore throat cured by Ker mott a Chocolates Laxative Quinine.
