Mr. W. H, Kimbeli came very near
having a serious fire at his large giuery
here last Thursday night. If it had uot

Death of Emory flcElroy.
Mr. Emory McEiroy, son of Mr. John
B. McEiroy, died at the home of his
father, near Winder, last Friday morn
ing with fever. He was buried at Chris
tian Chapel on Saturday, the funeral
service being conducted by Rev. J. H.
Wood. Mr. McEiroy was a good man
and had a host ot friends. He was 23
years of age and had only been married
about one year.
