Whereas, an election was held on the
2d day of August 1900, iu Jackson coun
ty—in ' ecordance with au Act of the
General Assembly, approved December
20, 1899, to ratify said Act to prohibit
the manufacture of any spirituous, malt,
or intoxicating liquors, except domestic
wines made from grapes or berries,
within the limit3 of Jackson county:
and whereas, a majority of the voters
voting at said election was against the
manufactu e. The rr alt of said elec
tion is therefore declared to be against
the manufacture, and that said Act
shall take effect from aud after the
publication of this notice once a week
for four weeks from this date.
