THURSDAY, MARCH 10, I&2L PERSONAL MENTION. Mrs. Guy Kilgore was a visitor to Atlanta this week. Mrs. J. H. Jackson nml Mrs. Henry Pledger spent Tuesday in Gainesville. Dr. E. F. Saxon was a visitor to friends In Oconee county last week. Rev. IV. E. Moore and wife were visitors to Lawrenceville Monday. Mrs. Ola Hall is the guest of her sister in Gainesville this week. Rev. W. H. Faust, was a visitor to Jefferson Wednesday. Rom to I)r. and Mrs. W. T. Ran dolph on March Bth, a son. Little Miss Ethel Saul, of Atlanta, was the guest of Mrs. Sam Stein last Saturday. Mrs. W. L. DeLaPerriere had as her giiest the past week, her sister, Miss Mellie Stanton, of Social rircle. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Stein spent the first of this week with relatives in Atlanta. Dr. and Mrs. W. T. Randolph an nounce the birth of a son, Tuesday, March Bth. Messrs. J. M. and J. X. Summerour were in Atlanta Wednesday on busi ness. We are glad to note that Mr. D. I. Gaines, who has been rpiite 111, is im proving. Miss Leola Pulliam has accepted a position as lmokkeeper with Grcgory- Woodruff Company. Rev. J. B. Brookshire filled his ap pointment at Chestnut Mt. last Satur day and Sunday. Mr. John Craig and Miss Kelly, of Lawrenceville, wer e guests of the fam ily of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Camp last Sunday. Misses Christine Clayton, Essie Stephens, Alma Haygood, Miriam Ben nett and Sammle Davis and Mrs. Il.vrd Harris spent last Saturday in Athens. Miss Lucile Whitley and Miss Mae Outz visited the former’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. It. Whitley, ut Dacula last Friday. Miss Gerdle Wood is in Atlanta the guest of her brother, Mr. W. A. Wood. Starr and children nnd Mrs. Blnstngame and Miss Essie Steph ens spent last Sunday in Loganvillol with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Lord and Mrs Ike Hall went over to Athens Sunday to visit Miss Mary Lord, who is taking a training course at the Athens hos pital. Rev. W. 11. Faust and Mrs. Faust were visitors to the former’s parents in Oglethorpe county the first of the week. Mr. W. B. McCants and son, Mr. John McCants, spent last week-end in Dahlonega. Mr. W. J. Herrin, who lias been con ined to his room for the past month with a severe carbuncle, is reported much ilproved at this writing. Rev. W. E. Moore went out to El>e liezer churcs last Saturday where lie preached on that day and on Sunday.
