TAMPA MAN GIVES CREDIT TO TANLAC Hines Says He Couldn’t Have Held Out An other Month But for Tanlac. “Yes, sir, I’ll go out of my way to recommend Tanlac since it lias put me back in such fine health,” said A. (Special.) —Sunday school at this place is progressing nice ly under the supervision of J. H. Parks. The B. Y. P. U. has been organized but owing to the rain Sunday night we did not have the program. Every one come and make Sharon the banner church of Mulberry association. Misses Lois Davis and Lois Feagon spent Saturday night with Miss Lois Mauldin. Miss Viola Maulin spent a while on Saturday afternoon with Miss Lois Langford. Mr. Jessie Gilland spent Saturday night with Mr. J. T. Brock. Miss Flora Sailyrs spent last week with her sister, Mrs. Robert Reed, of near Chestnut Mt. Mr. Collie Lancaster and sister, Eva Jane, attended the debate at Brasel ton Friday night. Misses Laura Mae Lancaster and Lois (Abbie) Mauldin spent Friday night with Miss Lois Feagan. The Sharon Wood Chucks journeyed over to Braselton Thursday afternoon and played base ball. The score was six and three in favor of the Wood Chucks, better known as the “Cain Cutter 9.” The Sharon Wood Chucks are a young team but they win the vic tory. They are making the second Ty Cobb out of Mr. Lyman Sloan and Col lie Lancaster and what a champion catcher is Herman Johnson. The field ers, short stop and basemen are al ways on the lookout for a No. 1. Misses Zora Mae Lancaster and Luna Mae Evans of Statham spent Saturday night with Miss Eva Jane Lancaster where she gave a singing in their honor and a large number of friends were present. Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Brock of County Line spent Friday night with Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Brock. Mr. J. Herbert Lancaster spent Sat urday night with Mr. Howell Parks. Several from here attended the Sun day school convention last week at Bethabra, also the baptizing there Sun day. Miss Bertha Cruce was the guest of Miss Carmen Elder Sunday. There was a large crowd gathered at Bethabra church Sunday at the bap tizing. Mrs. A. N. Elliott and daughter, Jew ell, were guests of Mrs. Talmo Norris Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Luther Norris are tne proud parents of a tine bhby boy. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur House and lit tle daughter were guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Allen Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Talma Norris had as her guest Sunday her mother, Mrs. Raymond Watson. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Attaway from Gainesville were in this community Sunday. The party given by Misses Nellie and Ruth Allen Saturday night was enjoy ed by all present. This community was visited by a big rain Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Allen were in the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Allen Fri day night. Mattie P'leeman was the guest of of Thelma Allen Sunday.
