THURSDAY, JUNE 16, 1921. BETHABRA Mrs. Sallie Sims of Winder is visit ins her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J G Atta way. Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Williams, of Ath ens, spout Saturday night with the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Williams. Miss Ollie Murphy spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. Soott Hardy at Winder. Misses Dell and Fannie Sims had as their guests .Sunday, Misses Eula Har dy and Gerlie Wood. Mr. and M.ip. IJranan Williams an nounce the birth of a daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Murphy spent Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Flanigan. Mrs. W. J. Webb, of Jefferson, is vis iting her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Sims, this week. Misses Nellie and Ruth Allen were guedts of their sjster, Mrs. Arthur House, Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Dalton and family attended the B. V. I*. I", convention at Zion Sunday. Miss Gertie Mnxey spent Saturday night with Miss Bertie House. CHRISTIAN CHURCH The Bible school meets every Sun day at 10:15. Come and study the Bible with us at this hour. Bring a friend. The Lord’s Supper and sermon by the minister at 11 :20 A. M. The subject at this time will lie “A Plain Talk to Father.” This day will be observed as Father’s Day in the Sunday school and church. For several years we have observed Mother's Day in the Bible school and in recent years many have come to have a Father's Day also. Let all fathers make an effort to be present at % this service. Usual worship on Sunday evening at 8 :30. Friday night is Community Night. There will lie three reels of moving picture. One is Boy Scouts of Amer ica. The other two Winning Her Way. Sunday school at this place every Sunday afternoon at 2:30 except on the first Sunday, regular meeting day. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mobley spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Luther Allen is the superintend ent of this school and they nre doing a fine work. In the morning, exercis es by the children &ere held and a splendid sermon by the pastor was heard. A fine dinner was served at the noon j hour. In the afternoon other exercises were held by the children and splendid talks were made by Messrs. IV. M. Hol senbeck and M. C. Wiley, of tills city.
