In the moving picture films you actually see the corn sprout, take root and grow from the time the seed is planted under ■the soil in both types of seed beds. You can see the moisure rise and reach the peed more quickly in the correctly pre pared seed bed, and as soon as the moist ure reaches the seed tilings begin to happen. The seed planted in tile cor rectly prepared seed bed germinates and growth starts eight days in advance of the seed planted in the incorrectly pre pared seed bed. oil see roots be gin to sprout downward followed later by the top sprout pushing upward and through the soil. The slides and lilms give a visible Wesson in the proper preparation of the soil for all crops and the lecture j which accompanies them is said to be the most striking on advanced agricul ture ever heard in the South. They are really wonderful and every farmer I should avail himself of this opportuni ty to see them as they must be seen to he appreciated. Weather permitting, j the slides and pictures will he shown in j the open, and the famous Magnavox Telenigaphone will he used insuring : each one present of hearing every word that is spoken. Popular musical se lections will also he rendered thru the I use of this wonderful instrument. This I feature will prove of unusual interest j as it will afford the majority of those (present the opportunity of bearing the Magnavox-Teleinagnphone for tlm first time. Th re can lie no doubt that such dent Winder, Barrow County, Georgia, Thursday, October 6. 1921. castrations have high merit in making the value of power farming more gener ally known throughout thiss section and, in placing mechanical aid on many farms where owners are worrying with labor problems and cri conditions. Another value is that by the use of im roved luacliineryy acreage can he main tained in cultivation and idle farms again made productive. Such power farming demonstrations held on the scale as organized by tile Fordson peo ple have a great benetit by reason of the valuable instructions it gives to farmers and the impetus it creates thru the adoption of power farming on a more extensive scale, in sections of the state where it is badly needed. Surely demonstrations of this kind arc milestones in agricultural progress. Ail unusually large attendance is ex pected. and a cordial invitation is cx ' tended to every one by King Motor Go., j who will cheerfully furnish any addi tional information.
