of Mrs. Caroline Adams, represents to
the Court in his petition, duly filed
and entered on record that he has ful
ly administered Mrs. Caroline Adams
estate. This is therefore, to cite all
persons concerned, kindred and credi
tors, to show cause, if any they can,
why said administrator should not be
discharged from his administration and
receive letters of dismission, on the
first Monday in February, 1922.

Hardware Company, No. 2; one one-
wagon and harness; one dark bay
mare mule, about eight years old, wt.
.about 1050 pounds; one cream colored
milch cow about five years old, weight
about 800 pounds, with one horn; farm
ing tools, consisting of spring-tooth
'harrow, plow stocks, plows and so
forth.

satisfy an execution issued from Bar
row Superior Court in favor of Bank

"To the Superior Court of said county.
'* The petition of G. W. Summerour,
A. B. Harwell. L. C. Russell and H. H.
Chandler, of Barrow county, Georgia,
respectfully shows:
1. That they desire for themselves,
their associates and successors to he
incorporated, and made a body politic
under the name and style of SUMMER
OUR PLANT AND STOROAGE COM
PANY, for the period of twenty years,
with the privilege of renewal at the
expiration of saift term.
2. The principal office and place of
business of said company shall be in
the City of Winder, State and county
aforesaid, but petitioners desire the
right to establish branch offices and
places of business within this state 01
elsewhere, whenever the holders of a
majority of the capital stock so deter
mine.
3. The object of said incorporation
is pecuniary gain to itself and its share
holders.
4. The business to be carried on l>y
the said corporation is the planting,
raising, growing, transplanting, selling,
buying, exchanging, importing and ex
porting potatoes, potato plants, and
oth"r plants and other agriculture pro
duct, and the curing and storing of
-vetoes and other agriculture products
for themselves, anil for others for hire,
the operating and maintaining ware
houses and curing houses for the pur
pose of storing and curing potatoes
and other farm products for themselves
and for others for hire; the ginning
and storing of cotton, and the storing
of cotton seed, and buying and selling
the same; the buying, selling, exchang
ing and storing of farm supplies and
merchandise, and running and opera
" ting a general mercantile business, any
or all of the above as they may desire.
5. The capital stock of said corpor
ation shall he Ten Thousand Dollars,
with the privilege of increasing the
same to the sum of Fifty Thousand
Dollars by a majority vote of the stock
holders.
Said stock to he divided into shares
of the par value of one hundred dol
lars each. Ten per cent of the amount
( ,f the capital stock of ten thousand
dollars has been actually paid in (and
a'matter of fact the entire capital
stock of ten thousand dollars has been
actually paid in.)
U petitioners desire the right to
sue and be sued, to plead and be im
pleaded, to have and use a common
seal, to make all necessary by-laws
and regulations, and to do all other
things that may he necessary for the
successful carrying on of said business
including the right to buy. hold, lease,
and sell real estate aiyi personal prop
ertv, suitable to the purposes of the
corporation, and to execute notes and
bonds as evidences of indebtedness in
curred or which may lie incurred in
the conduct of the affairs of the cor
poration, and to secure the same by

lien under existing laws.
7 They desire for said corporation
the power and authority to apply for
and accept amendments to its charter,
either of form or substance by vote of
. a majority of its stock outstanding at
the time. They ask authority for the
said corporation to wind up its affairs,
liquidate and discontinue its business
at any time it may determine so to do
jjy a vote of two thirds of its stock
outstanding at the time, provided the
same does not conflict with the laws
of said atute.

8. They desire for said corporation
the right of renewal when, and provid
ed by the laws of said State, and that
it have all such rights, powers, privi
leges and immunities as are incident
to like corporations or permissible uu
er the laws of Georgia.
WHEREFORE, petitioners pray to
he incorporated under the name and
style aforesaid, with the rights, priv
ileges and immunities herein set forth,
and ns are now, or may hereafter be,
allowed a corporation of similar char
acter under the laws of Beorgia.

ROADS MEETING.
A meeting will be held at the court
house in Gainesville on Wednesday,
February 15, 1922, at 10 o’clock A. M.
for the purpose of discussing the ques
tion of building good roads in the
Gainesville road district, composed of
sixteen counties in this immediate sec
tion of the state.
A number of prominent road officials
ill be present to take up in detail the
plans for road-building, and a full and
free discussion of the entire matter
will be engaged in by those present. It
is believed t Hut the building of good
roads in this part of Georgia will be
considerably Stimulated by the dis
cussion at this meeting, and It is the
desire of those backing the movement
that you, among others of the news
paper fraternity, be present to inform
yourself fully regarding the plans and
purposes of highway development iu
our section.
The movement is backed by the
Gainesville Chamber of Commerce and
I am glad to co-operate with that or

Basket Ball News
On Tuesday afternoon the basket hall
team of Winder Hi went over to Cov
ington and heat the quintet of the Cov
ington Hi to the tune of 25 to 15.
On Tuesday night the Monroe Aggie*
came up to Winder and engaged tho
Winder Athletic team but tbe game
was not completed on account of some
disagreement. When the game broke
up Winder was far in the lead.
Following the above game the Win
der "Hard Nuts” played against tlnl
“Butternuts” of the Monroe A. & M.,
which was won by tbe Winder aggre
gation by a score of 8 to 6.
Winder is making a tine record in
the basket ball games that she is play
ing.
