Was that somebody you?
§
Some fellows say that God didn't
make them in his image; that they
merely evolutqd from a protopasm,
which shows‘conclusively that the fool
killer is still asleep on his job.
§
Others argue that man did fall, but
he fell up from the brute.
§
Men may believe in evolution all they
please but they have animal shrewd
ness enough not to tell their wives that
they have brute blood in their veins.
§
If Adam came from an ape, and Jesus
Christ came from the seed of Adam,
then Christ would have descended from
an ape. This puts the evolutionist out
of commission with sensible folks at
once.
§
Why call development in plants and
animals evolution, and argue that all
things come from a single protoplasmic
stock?
§
No honest man can think he came
from an ape. Why, then, do evolution
ists aspire to draw salaries from the
Christian tax-payers and keep on teach
ing that tommy-rot in our schools.
§
Wonder if the men who insist so
strenuously on the eight-hour day will
let their wives off when they work
eight hours.
§•
There are plenty of business men who,
if they were to close their offices and
go back to the farm, would be a suc
cess from practice at watering stock.
§
Tinder present financial plans the
JCnited States is giving her Allies cred
it for having won the war.
§
You can see lots of folks who want
the Bonus, but the ones who are willing
to pay it are few and far between.
8
This contemplated charge of $lO a
ton for fertilizers is causing farmers to
cry out at the injustice. Sure Henry
Ford ought to have Muscle Shoals if lie
would give cheaper fertilizers.
8
Great Britain may claim a monopo
ly of sunshine in her domains, but
North Georgia seems to have the worlds
share of moonshine.
§
If the stars in the movies were paid
in proportion to their real worth to
the country, there would be a mighty
exodus from California.

Let us build you a home now. Building*
material is cheap. Why wait and pay more?
In all the larger cities and towns the peo
ple are building now because they realize
the longer they wait the more a home will
cost them.
Labor and building material will cost you
much more later on. All building material
is advancing daily.
Call and inspect our plans on the Aladin
homes. They will please you. Remember
if you haven’t all the money, we will help
you finance the proposition and build your
home anyway.

§
Speaking of justice and law ,:iforee
ment in Georgia, how about making the
average fellow pay his auto tag by
March Ist, and letting the fifty thou
sand others wait their good pleasure
to do so? No wonder there is no re
spect for law in Georgia.
S
Bet if Mr. Secretary of State had to
get his fat salary out of the delayed
tax for auto tags, he wouldn't be howl
ing so about delaying it.
§
Hard work and plenty of it would
help relieve this awful condition in fi
nancial circles that we are now facing.
