Odd Fellows to Meet
With Jersey. Lodge
In A Fall Session.
Tin* Fifteenth Division District of
Georgia (><JI Fellows, which was so
royally entertained by the Star of Beth
lehem Lodge at Bethlehem last Wednes
day, will hold its September session,
by vote, of the convention, with the
lodge of Jersey, this county. Hereto
fore, the convention has been held at
call of the District Deputy Grand Mus
ter. Dissatisfaction having arisen
with some, it was agreed by the legis
lative committee, appointed at the
Bethlehem meet, to state a definite time
for holding the convention and a date
in March and September was agreed
upon.
The Fifteenth District Division of
Georgfn Odd Fellows is one of the lar
gest and most important from several
IHiints of view in the State and it has
a very bright future for even greater

Music and games were enjoyed during
the evening.
Misses Mary and Mozelle Perry enter
tained on last Tuesday evening in
honor of their cousin. Miss Tabitha
Sims. Conversation, music and games
were enjoyed. Delicious refreshments
were served.
Miss Nettie McGee entertained the
younger set on last Thursday evening.
Quite a good time was had by those

Mrs. Webb Hinton of Eastville was
the guest of her mother, Mrs. Ellen
Dooly Saturday.
Tim Womans Missionary Society of
the M. E. church held its regular month
ly meeting Monday afternoon at the
home of Mrs. W. M. Fite. The study
for this month was the people of Mex
ico, Chihuahua and social service. The
president had charge of the meeting.
She was assisted by others reading and
discussing the ways of those people in
Mexico. “So near and yet so far” Af
ter the study of the lesson and the bus
iness the meeting came to a close A
social hour was then enjoyed. Tin- next
meeting will be with Mrs. L. M. Ar
nold. *
