LEGISLATIVE NOTICE.
Notice is hereby given by Mayor anil
Council of Statham, Georgia, that at
the coming session of ttie General As
sembly their request a bill will be in
troduced, of which the following is a
caption:
“An Act to amend an Act approved
August 10th, 1910, entitled “An Act’’ to
create anew chatter for the Town of
Statham, Georgia, to fix the incorpor
ate limits, to create the officers of said
Town, define their duties and fix their
compensation, to provide for public im
provements and the proper sanitary and
police regulations for said Town, and
for other purposes, so as to provide in
Section 11 of said Act that the Mayor
and Council shall have the power to
’evy a tax not to exceed two per cent,
on all property, real and personal, sub
ject to the State and county tax within
rlie corporate limits of said Town.”
