ed into our little city last week and
we hid them welcomme. We hope they
may remain with us for some time to
come.
Miss Hut It Henderson was the guest
of her sister. Mrs. J. W. Williams a
few days last week.
Miss Avery Beddingfleld entertained
a few of her friends on last Friday ev
ening. Music and games were enjoy
ed for quite awhile after which an ice
and sweet course was served hy Miss

The Third quarterly conference of
the Bethlehem work was held here at
the Methodist church Sunday. Sickness
prevented Dr. W. T. Hamby. F. K. from
Being present. Kev. M. B.'Sains deliv
ered one of his best sermons to a very
large atnl appreciative audience. He
also presided at conference and in his
'very matter of fact way. a splendid
conference was enjoyed. Quite a good
attendance from the other churches of
which we enjoyed. A good dinar with

good time with each and every one
