Miss Mozelle Perry, who is attend
ing a business college, in Athens spent
the week-end here with her parents.

Mrs. W. C. Roberts and two chil
dren, Carrie and Wilson, of Decatur,
were the guests of Mrs. J. L. Haynie
and Mrs. Edna Roberts Inst week.
Ernest Willie Cheek of Augusta is
spending two weeks here with his par
ents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Cheek.

ens spent the week-end with her moth
er, Mrs. Anna Hammond.
One of the most enjoyable social
functions of the season was a sand
wich feast last Saturday evening given
by Misses Pearlie and Zora Hammond
given in honor of their guests, Misses
Hall and Perry. Vases of flowers grac
ed the tattles in the hall, anl parlor
where the guests were assembled thru
out the evening. Tin- spacious veran

placed bode and there. Music and games
were enjoyed for quite awhile after
which Miss Lollie Mae Hammond of
Athens assisted her sister in enter
taining. Quite a good many guests
invited to meet Misses Hall and Perry.

G EORGIA —Barrow county.
Notice Is hereby given that in pur
suance of an Act of the General As
sembly of Georgia, of 1922, and ap
proved by the Governor, an election will
l>e held in Harrow county, Georgia, on
the 13th day of September, 1033, to
determine whether the voters qualified
to vote in such, election will ratify or
reject the Act of the General Assem
bly of Georgia, of 1933, and approved
hy the Governor, creating the City
Court of Harrow county, in and for
said county of Harrow, and providing
that before the same shall become op
erative and effective it shall be sub
mitted to the voters of said county for
ratification or rejection, and if rati
fied by a majority of the voters in such
election it shall become operative and
effective, and if not so ratified, it
shall not become operative and effect
ive. Such election will be held in ac
cordance with the laws governing the
election of members of the General
sembly of (Jcocrgia, and with the said
Act hereinbefore referred to. All vot
ers qualified to vote for members of the
General Assembly of Georgia, in Har
row county, are qualified to vote in
said election.
