The sick in our community are all
improving.
Mr. and Mrs. V, P. Smith of Atlanta
visited Mr. J. M. Etheridge and family
Monday.

dren visited their parents, Mr. J. C.
Lovin Saturday night near Ebeneaer.
Mrs. Jennie Mae McXabb and little
daughter, Bertie Emma, spent the week
with her father, Mr. IV. W. Parks.

Messrs. J. S. Etheridge and Emory

We learn at this writing that Mrs. J.
W. Marr is very ill.

We have had most all kinds of weath
since our last mission. Snow, sleet,
rain and some real spring time weath
er. We can't tell what will be next.
The women seem to be assisting moth
er nature in trying to bring spring by
working in the garden. We see where
they are right. If they’re not just a
little early and we trust not.
Miss Hattie Lou Griffeth of Fence
spent Monday with Mr. and Mrs. War
ren Franklin.
Our Sunday school was good Sun
day afternoon. crowds and good
lessons.
Messrs. Thomas and Joe Hawkins
and Bee Hill of Appalachee were vis
itors to our Sunday school Sunday.
Glad to have you, boys; come again
and bring more of the old Appalachee
bunch.
Mr. S. S. Cosby happened to the mis
fortune of losing a fine milk cow one
day last week.
R)ev. J. W. Austin had business in
Atlanta Monday.
Mr. Dewey Etheridge was the guest
of Miss Carrie Goss Sunday evening.
Mr. Pierce Haymon and Misses Lei
la and Coreen Dunagin motored to Mon
roe Sunday.
Carl Sunday school has a special in
vitation to attend Sunday school at Ap
palachee Sunday morning. Ail who can
and will go and help them in the good
work. Also we need their help which
will be greatly appreciated..

Boss Sunday evening was very much
enjoyed.
Mrs. Callie Chandler has accepted
the position as postmistress at this
place as Rev. M. K. Hudlow has re
signed on account of ill health.

tle son. were guests of the latter’s par
ents. Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Pierce of Ce
dar Creek Saturday night and Sunday.
