Will be sold on the first Tuesday in
March next at public outcry at the
court house in said county, within the
legal hours of sale, to the highest bid
der for cash, certain property of which
the following is a full and complete
description:
“All that tract or parcel of land on
Broad street, in the City of Winder,
county of Jackson (now Barrow) de
scribed as follows: Beginning at a
rock corner on said Broad street, run
ning thence in a southeast course along
the divided line (of Sikes and Moore)
to u rook corner on branch; thence
southwest up the said branch to rock
corner with R. P. Williams; thence with
Williams line to a rook corner on old
road; thence northerly along said old
road to a rock corner on Broad street;
thence northeast with Broad street to
the beginning corner coontaining eight
and one-eighth <8 1-8 acres, more or
less, and is known as the property now
occupied by the said J. W. Moore and
L. Jj. Moore.
This is the same tract of land as is
fully and minutely described in a deed
from W. L. Sikes and C. H. Barron to
the said .7. W. Moore and Ij. L. Moore,
dated November fith, 1911, recorded in
Jackson Superior Court on November
17, 1911, in Book “KK", page 610.
Said property levied upon as the
property of J. W. Moore to satisfy an
execution issued from the Superior
Court of Barrow county in favor of
R. L. Carlthers against ,T. W. Moore, et
nls, said property being in the posses
sion of said J. W. Moore and notice of
the levy given ns required by law to
tenant in possession.

parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. P. Allen, last
Sunday.
Mrs. Eulu Hayes visited her parents
recently, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Little.
Miss Carmen Elder spent the week
end with home folks.
Mrs. Blrtie Allen spent a few days
with her mother, Mrs. Pearlie Simp
son.
We are sorry to note the death of
Miss Eula Hardy, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. George Hardy. She died at her
brother’s home, Mr. Clarence Hardy,
after an attack of pneumonia. She was
buried at Betliabia church Saturday,
Itev. Odis McNeal conducted the fuuer
service, the bereaved ones have our
sympathy.
There wasn’t any Sunday school at
this place Sunday afternoon on account
of rain, hut hope to have Sunday school
next Sunday. Everybody come.
Mr. Sims and son, Jack, passed thru
this burg Eriday going to her daughters
home, Mrs. Dell Lancaster.
Misses Nellie and Thelma Allen spent
the week-end with home folks.
The death angel visited the home of
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Marr Monday A.
M. and took from them their little in
fant baby girl, about one week old.
They have our sympathy.
Mrs. Mary Allen is visiting her sis
ter, Mrs. Alice Marr of Auburn at this
writing.
Mrs. Sunie Elder spent awhile Sun
day with her sister, Mrs. Pearlie Simp
son.
Little 1 slim ael Allen is spending a
few days with his grand parents, Mr.
and Mrs. C. F. Allen.
Rev. Warwick spent Saturday night
with Mr. C. P. Allen and family.
Mrs. S. E. Elliott is back with her
sou. Mr. A. N. Elliott after spending
live or six weeks with her sou, Mr. H.
F. Elliott of Cedar Hill.
Mr. Manus and family are recover
ing after having been sick with the
