THE DEATH OF MR. CASEY.
On Monday afternoon at 1 o’clock, at
[the Iwme of his son, C. G. Casey, on
the Manning place, about two miles
(from Bethlehem, occurred the death of
Mr. A. J. Casey. Mr. Casey was born
| and reared in Walton county, now Bar
row. Ibl was sick only a short time. He
was stricken with lock jaw Sunday
morning.
He was 76 years old. He was not a
member of any church but he lived a
quiet and peaceable life. He reared a
large family of children. The following
survive! him:
John Richard, Florence, Grady of
this county; Newt, of Chamblee; Mon
roe of Morgan;; Mrs. John Cain of
Eastville, and one brother, Mr. Manuel
Casey. Mrs. George, Christian of Ath
ens; Mrs. Mell Tucker of Winterville;
The funeral was in charge of Rev. ,T.
I*. Chandler at the Smith cemetery near
Winder, Twtsday afternoon at throe
o’clock and the interment followed at
the same place. A Friend.
