lies in Northeast District.
The Barrow county rally will be
held at the Winder Presbyterian
church Monday, May 28th. The first
session begins at 2.30 p. m Everybody
whether a member of Christian En
deavor or not, is invited to attend this
rally, hut the Juniors arei especially in
vited to the afternoon session. Supper
will he served at the church and the
night session will begin at 7:30 and
will he over by 8:30. so that all who
wish to go to the Senior class play at
the school auditorium, may do so.

DEATH OF MR.
FRED ROYAL.
Mr. Fred Royal, aged about 50 years,
died at the state sanitarium in Milledg
vilie last Tuesday, after an illness of
about two years. His remains were
brought to Winder Wednesday after
noon and interred in Rose Hill ceme
tery, the funeral service being held in
rlie Methodist church and conducted
by Rev. J. M. Dodd, pastor of the First
Baptist church.
Mr. Royal loaves one daughter, Mrs.
Marie Brown, of Atlanta, three broth
ers, Messrs. Ed. and Clem Royal, of
this city, and I>. L. Royal, of Monroe.
He also leaves one sister, Mrs. B. L.
Mealor. of Birmingham, Ala., and three
half sisters, Mrs. Manus Deaton, of
Winder, Mrs. Della Slaton, of Social
Circle, and Mrs. Xt ilie Gunnels, of El
berton.
To the bereaved relatives the sympa
thy of their many friends is extended.
