-rHE YEAR 1910 will turn anew leaf in our business career here. It
* has been our ambition and desire for years to make this store one
of the most handsome stores in this section, and give the people of Win
der and surrounding country values which can't be excelled in any city
in Ameri a. We believe the proper time is here now. We have, there
fore, closed a contract with iart SchaiTner & Marx, of Chicago, to be
exclusive representatives here for their men’s clothing, and a full line
of their clothing for the Spring of 1910 will reach us in about two weeks.
We feel that it is hardly necessary fee us to explain what this line
means to the men of Winder who are looking for style and quality as
well as price. It practically means to do away with their-extra trips to
Atlanta to buy their nice clothes. It means an end of paying out $lO
extra to have your suits tailor-made, as the intelligent know, there is
no clothing firm nor tailor on the American continent who excell Hart
Schaffnhr & Marx clothing in style and quahty, and there are only a
few who are considered their equal. This line of clothing does not only
mean good news for the well dressed men of Winder, but for tire coun
ty at large, as it speaks well for any city to have this line in their midst, f
especially a city of no more than six thousand population.
We are also prepared to fit you in a low-quarter shoe and hat of the
same excellence as our clothing. We have secured the $3.50, $4.00 and
55.00 W. L. Douglas Shoe, and they are now on display in our window.
Our Hopkins Hats for this Spring are noted for their shades and shapes.
The work on our store begins Mondav. We will try to get through
in a week, if possible, and this will fulfill our promise to the trading
public to furnish them a handsome store to trade in as well as up-to-date
merchandise from which to select.
In buying our Spring Goods we thought of our ladies’ trade as well,
and we have selected the finest line of Dry Goods, Skirts, Waists- and
Oxfords money could buy.
Yours to serve,
J. L. SAUL, The Clothier
