We Welcome the Lookers.
Yes, even when we know they
have no intention of purchasing —
at least not at present. Because:
We never like to aniss a chance to
do sorim advertising, and it pleases
us quite a bit to display our goods
for the benefit of lookers. It often
happens that something that we
show proves irresistable —then the
looker becomes a buyer. But as
we said, when lookers only look
our goods are lmund to produce an
effect —an effect that may buy and
materilize into business. Showing
people is planting seed in good
ground- Will you he a looker?

“Pa,” she ventured, at the close
of the lecture, “when you see a
cow, aren't you afraid?”
“Why, certainly not, Adelaide.
Why should 1 be?”
“Well, when you see a dog,
aren’t you afraid then?”
“No, indeed!” with marked em
phasis on the “no.”
“Aren’t you afraid when it thun
ders, papa?
“Why, no,“ and he laughed at
the thought and added, “Oh, you
silly child!
“Papa,” and Adelaide came
closer and looked into her parent’s
eye, “aren't you afraid of nothing
in the world hut just mamma?”

A Missourian informed a traveler

compared to our corn,” repled the

where I come from, we always had
nine ears to each stick and.tassel;
