Editor Winder News. Dear Sfp:
I notice in your issue of last
week, that you have an article
that leads the people to believe
the trouble that occurred be
tween Mr. Maynus and myself,
that the entire matter grew out
of a , family row. I want this mis
construed idea corrected. I have
been married about 40 years and
can say that there has never been
a family row in my family yet.
i Want to say that Mr. Mayfnus
was in my feild at work, and May
nus left his field and came over
to where I was hauling wheat,
and raised the row with me, and
before I knew anything at all he
threw a rock at me, and my two
sons being on the wpgon of wheal
they jumped off and (fame to my
rescue, then he tackled them.
Mr. Editor, I want to say that
it was not a family row as mine
and his had been on the best
of terms and had been heretofore,
and as to family rowing. I dori”t
stand for that at my house.
Will ask that you please give
this correction space in your next
issue. Yours truly,
T. A. Tolbert. /
