have a bazaar and a few other fea

fied endorsement of Governor
John M. Slaton in its fight to
prevent the boll weevil from en
tering into the State of Georgia-
The State’s Chief Executive
states his position thru a procla
mation] issued to the people of
Georgia generally, urging them tc
give their support to the Georgia
Chamber of Commerce.in the boll
weevil fight, and also to devise
wavs and means among them
selves to cheek the invasion of
this pest.
Experts are generally agreed
that tin' boll weevil will make its
appearance in Georgia within
three years’ time unless radical
prevention s 4 eps are taken by the
people of the State in the mean
time.
